    Verdict

rene Kennet returned to winning ways in a lower grade race at Lingfield last time and is up another 3lb. Cape Alex had The Blue Dog back in fourth when scoring over a longer trip here earlier this month but had earlier found Mazij too good over track and trip. The latter can figure again, but with most of the opposition looking thoroughly exposed, SHEA gets the vote. Ralph Beckett's lightly-raced filly won her maiden at Kempton in October and won't have to improve much on that to make a winning reappearance.
