Evita has shown gradual improvement of late and Luca Cumani's filly has to be respected but there was plenty to like about the way that Rigat won last time and he is preferred, with Scamperdale rated the pick of the remainder. The selection won here with plenty in hand last time for which an 8lb rise is perfectly fair and David Barron's gelding is taken to follow up. Kingsholm has slipped to a fair mark so has to be respected, while Kansas Gold is only 2lbs higher than when scoring here in October so cannot be ruled out. Scamperdale has been running consistently well and should be thereabouts again but may just be a shade high in the weights at present and preference is for Rigat.
