Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

Turn Me On should be the answer to this handicap and he gets the vote over Royal Embrace and Machinate. The selection looks to be back in form on the evidence of his latest run at Kempton when he chased home Smokin Joe. He seems to reserve his best efforts for the all-weather as he has also won over this course and distance, and from a decent draw he looks to have solid claims. Royal Embrace won well at Kempton last time when beating Viable, and he has had quite a light campaign so he looks one of the more interesting runners here. Machinate has been holding his form well and although the likelihood is that he will again find a couple too good, he should be capable of running into a place. Postmaster is a capable sort on his day, but the percentage call is to take him on, and for the winner we will stick with Turn Me On.
