    Verdict

The betting suggests MANXMAN would leave his previous form behind when upped in trip at Windsor for his handicap debut and he duly returned an easy winner. This longer trip should bring further improvement and he’s the one to beat. Sexy Rexy won at Chelmsford earlier and Timewave will also appreciate this return to the all-weather while Dark Gold should be noted stepping up in distance for Sir Mark Prescott’s yard.
