        Verdict

        RETRO VALLEY is one of the least exposed and a recent third at the track suggests he can confirm superiority with Anniversarie and open his account at this lowly level. The latter finished ahead of Blue Burmese when runner-up here earlier while More Drama won a plating race over track and trip in November. Akavit finished closer on his handicap debut back in August and blinkers are applied for the first-time on his return but it's hard to make a case for any of the remainder.
