This is quite competitive for one of these low grade Apprentice handicaps and Parachute is sure to have plenty of support in his quest to land a four-timer. Sir Mark Prescott, as is the norm, has placed his four-year-old well, but he is not an easy ride and may be one to take on with an inexperienced rider doing the steering. White Plains bounced back to winning ways in a seller here on Friday, and although he will find this harder, he must not be underestimated. Western Command is hopelessly out of sorts at present, while Fortunate Dave, the winner of a seller back in March on the Polytrack, has yet to prove himself on this surface. Glory Quest has been running well all winter and has gone well for an inexperienced rider in the past. He looks sure to go close. However, the vote goes to Joely Green, who is an ideal ride for an apprentice. Twice a winner here, once over this trip, he comes here in good form and will be well handled by Helen Smith.
