A fair seller and WHITBARROW can land it at the expense of Sir George and Borasco. Rod Millman's charge was unsurprisingly held in a handicap at the track on his latest start but he is a much better betting proposition at this grade and having had the benefit of two recent outings, we are hopeful that he is back to match fitness. Sir George beat Pha Mai Blue at Lingfield last season so the former Peter Chapple-Hyam inmate is deserving of respect at this grade. Borasco has been out of form but his stable have had a number of winners of late including a 50/1 stunner last week. Northern Desert is a regular in races of this nature. Astormfromillonois is a surprise entrant having not seen a racecourse since finishing tailed off in a claimer at Santa Anita in 2006. Sendreni has shown little of late though the booking of Steve Drowne by this shrewd stable leads us to take a closer look at the betting activity that surrounds him. Many plausible cases can be made and the most compelling is that of Whitbarrow.
