A typical claimer by the track's standards and GILLBURG is chanced at the principal expense of Michaelmas Daisy and Micky's Knock Off. The selection has not raced on the all-weather previously but he was useful enough on the level and we can expect his early pace to be utilised this afternoon. Michaelmas Daisy was held in some regard by previous connections though never quite delivered. That said, she is in off a very light racing weight and is available for a small claiming tag. Micky's Knock Off has had two disappointing runs on this surface and may be flattered by his current BHA rating. Sabatini is a close relation to the useful Swallow Flight and is tried in a claimer rather than the handicaps that she recently qualified for. Ramamara would have claims on a third in a Chester nursery and the booking of Paul Hanagan catches the eye. A tough opener that we lean towards Gillburg for.
