        Verdict

        Both Forward March and Al Manaal were unfancied or their respective debuts and ran accordingly. Better is expected here but they have plenty to find with MIDNIGHT FLOWER. She was beaten only a short-head over 6f here on her debut and that form looks even better now as she finished ahead of a couple of subsequent winners. David Simcock's filly looks the one to beat with the remainder hard to fancy except for the newcomer Footstepsintherain, a half-brother to winning sprinter Reckless Reward and worth noting in the betting.
