In depth

Verdict

Going French is the most exposed, Verge looks to need more time and Jamhara will need to step up on what she showed last season to figure. Pashan Garh made a promising introduction over today's trip at Lingfield three weeks ago when runner-up to a Jeremy Noseda-trained hotpot and a bold bid looks likely from him but a chance is taken on SIR MAXIMILIAN. Ed Dunlop has a fine strike rate at this track and his £68,000 Royal Applause colt may well be good enough to score on his debut with Jamie Spencer booked to ride.
