Not a very strong maiden where those who have experience look nothing special and it might be worth siding with debutant VAGLEFIELD. John Gosden has his string in fine fettle and this Montjeu colt should be well suited by this trip first time out. He may well have too much class for the remainder from a good draw. Naheell is respected from another top yard and may well find improvement for this step up in trip from a mile, though he will have a mark after this run and may be a more likely proposition in future handicaps. Gitano Hernando tries the Polytrack for the first time after a couple of half decent runs with cut in the ground. He too steps up in trip and will have a BHA rating after this run so unless there is money for him it might be prudent to wait for him to go handicapping. Hard Luck Story stays in maidens after finishing in the first three from three of four starts so far. This is a vastly different surface to what he has encountered and so he looks best watched. Dome Rocket looks one of the more serious dangers to the selection after a couple of very good efforts in context and if handling the car park draw he won't be far away but we'll take a chance on newcomer Vaglefield here.
