        Verdict

        Reg Hollinshead's Interchoice Star has been in good form of late with two victories over course and distance since the turn of the year in similar contests but this looks tougher for the five-year-old under his penalty and a better bet looks to be OBE GOLD, who gets the vote with Buy On The Red looking the pick of the remainder. The selection is another that has been campaigned successfully in this grade this year with two victories at Southwell and one at Lingfield and he can now gain his first win of his career here having run well at the track previously this term. Gary Moore has his string in fine form but his runner, Sir Edwin Landseer, is becoming expensive to follow and of more interest may be Ruth Carr's Tournedos, who is well in at the weights judged by official BHA ratings but does need to pick up on recent evidence to trouble the judge. David Nicholls does well with his runners in this grade and Buy On The Red has to be considered but Obe Gold has solid claims and looks the one to beat.
