In depth

Verdict

A small but competitive field go to post for this handicap. Young Collier won in game fashion when defeating Bergamo last time out, and he could win again with conditions again in his favour and he is set to go up in the weights again next week. Bergarmo rates a danger on the revised terms and Daniel Fox takes off a handy seven pounds but he appeared to throw the race away last time and he is not one to trust implicitly. Hajeer eventually broke his maiden tag at Southwell on Thursday but he will find this handicap much more competitive. Penalta was third behind Jamaican Flight last time but he is better off at the weights and he should be able to reverse placings on these revised terms. Bodfari Rose needs to improve significantly on her latest form to take a hand in the finish.
