      Verdict

      A small but competitive field go to post for this maiden. Arabian Knight was a good second behind Westmead Tango in a seller last time and that effort gives him every chance in this weak affair. Jagged finished in mid-division in a similar contest on his debut last time. He is sure to have learnt from the experience and he has definite place claims. Shriek was behind Jagged on that occasion and there is no reason why he should reverse the placings. Chico Guapo has had plenty of chances but his second behind Frascati in a nursery last season would give him every chance. Luna Tacumana is a Bahhare filly and is worth a look in the market. Frenchmans Lodge was a fair sixth in a maiden on turf last time out behind Peace Offering, and if he acts on this surface he would be a danger to all.
