Verdict

Royal Storm is taken to get back on the winning trail. He finished in mid-division in a much better race last time behind Lord Protector. He is sure to be fit for this his debut this season and he will be hard to beat if he acts on the surface. Moayed rates the main danger he defeated Choto Mate in good style last time, is proven over course and distance and the booking of Ian Mongan catches the eye. Golden Brief was third behind Lygeton Lad Last time. That effort gives him every chance but he does not have as much scope for improvement as Moayed and Royal Storm. Miss George was second behind Border Edge last time in a handicap, but this looks more competitive. Digger would have a chance on his best form but he has become disappointing of late. Resonate was a good winner on soft ground on turf at Doncaster but she has never run up to that mark on the AW. Summer Recluse needs to improve on all known form to take a hand in the finish.
