Verdict
Ian Williams has his stable in good nick and can enjoy another win here with RUSSIAN MUSIC, while Rare Coincidence could give him plenty to do if on a going day. The latter has won here on numerous occasions, including over this trip, when he did so from a mark 11lbs higher than today's. He has been out of sorts just lately, so you are taking a chance if backing him, but he has proved he can do it and if on a going day he would be a serious threat. However, preference is for Russian Music, who has twice finished runner-up, over a mile at Southwell and over 1m 4f at Lingfield. Yet to try this particular artificial surface, we hope that he can take to it and from this mark he looks likely to go very well. Home has done all of his winning at Southwell, but he did go close here over course and distance from a 7lbs higher mark and so cannot be ruled out. Adage likes it here but is very hard to win with, while Bright Sparky has possibilities, but we will side with Russian Music.
