        Verdict

        Bavarica will be hard to resist if she shows the same turn of foot she displayed here on Saturday evening and is fancied to extend her run of good form; possibly with the most to fear from Tender The Great and Baba Ghanoush. The last named showed promise in three starts last season - culminating in a two-and-a-half-length defeat of the 70-rated perez in December. It is a concern that she has not been seen since, but she obviously has ability and is worth noting in the betting. Tender The Great has dropped several hints that her turn is near and, despite being 3lb above her last winning mark, she has to be considered as a player at this level. Again market support will be dangerous to ignore. However, preference goes to Bavarica, who loves the surface here and, as she gets on tremendously well with James Doyle, her rider's 3lb claim helps swing the scales in her favour this evening.
