It speaks volumes that Richard Kingscote prefers the modest Lea Valley Black to newcomer and stablemate Canadian Red while Just A Pound didn't really improve on his debut fourth here at Yarmouth next time. Sioux Chieftain has a bit of scope but that could easily develop into a match between debutants BUCKSTAY and Brick Rising, with preference just for the former despite the concession of 3lb.
