Lunar River rates a token pick in a tricky finale although Lady Amberlini and Red Contact are likely to have their supporters. Lunar River has finished close up in two recent turf starts and if able to carry that nominal progression onto today's surface, she has to have fair claims in what is a moderate contest. Lady Amberlini has dropped plenty down the weights. David Evans' charge was far from disgraced at Kempton last time out and has to be a factor today. Southwell specialist, Red Contact, is another for whom the handicapper provides some respite. Ardent Prince looked to have been freshened up by a switch to new connections and it will be interesting to see if Willie Ever can give his form a boost earlier in the evening. General Feeling was held in a recent claimer at the track but has won over further in the past. Aga Khan castoff, Sendreni is with a shrewd yard and should not be overlooked in the market. Mighty Mover has place claims if consenting to be in the mood. Casablanca Minx is a previous course-and-distance winner. A tough race to get out with and Lunar River is offered up to minimum stakes.
