Verdict

ELVIRA DELIGHT was fancied to improve on her debut effort when stepped up to a mile at Lingfield last month and she duly landed the odds with the minimum of fuss. Further progress is expected on her handicap bow and Jeremy Noseda's filly can follow up. Lexi's Boy scored on his first start in a handicap and, though he only beat Bodie by less than a length, he looked to have a bit more up his sleeve if needed. Distinguish didn't show much in three starts over 7f last year but the Refuse To Bend filly may do better here, with Crossword looking another likely improver.
