Verdict

A three horse race between ONE SLICK CHICK, Rose Cheval and Shaws Diamond, with the vote going to Marco Botti's filly One Slick Chick. The selection made a pleasing debut when second to Kaolak at Great Leighs. It took a while for the penny to drop but when it did she ran on well and is expected to be much the wiser this evening. Rose Cheval returns after an absence; a few of the yards horses have been punted recently and this well-related filly should not be overlooked too readily. Shaws Diamond has the advantage of more experience over her rivals and she has been tried in fair company earlier in her career. The others look to be making up the numbers, although improvement can be expected from Flying River as she gains experience although she will be eligible for handicaps after this. A good chance it appears for One Slick Chick to top the pile.
