Rated much higher on the all-weather than on turf, there is a suggestion that Grand Vizier may not be the force of old on this surface nowadays while Stand Guard needs a longer trip to show his best. Cobo Bay and Star Links are not badly treated under today's conditions and can figure, but the former has a bit to find with SHE'S A CHARACTER on earlier form. Richard Fahey's filly hasn't scored since making a winning debut but the best of her form since gives her every chance and this drop in class could prove the key to getting her head back in front.
