Rawaaj got off the mark at the eighth time of asking over hurdles when beating Man Of Leisure at Hereford earlier this month. That wasn't a strong contest but neither is this and Donald McCain's charge has to go on the short-list, despite the penalty. Dancing Daffodil also has 7lb extra after winning a conditionals' event at Southwell. But that was over 3m1f and the mare may be exposed for pace over this much shorter trip. KARINGA DREAM hasn't really fired over hurdles so far but this is her easiest task to date by some distance and she could just be the value in an inauspicious opener.
