In depth

Verdict

Let's Be Happy only won a claimer here last month and has gone up 6lb since. Airmax has started favourite in his last three runs but after good runs at Windsor and Haydock he was much too keen at Chester last time and dropped away tamely. He might be the one to beat if he settles better here but CORTON LAD (NAP) is a viable alternative as he’s been running well enough this summer without winning and is now 15lb lower than when last successful. Mythological won over this trip at Beverley in May and may not have stayed 1m6f at Sandown subsequently.
