Layla's Boy and Fighter Boy look to set the standard but it may just be worth taking a chance with OMARURU despite a disappointing debut. The selection failed to fire on his racecourse bow at this track but it would be no great surprise were he to prove a different proposition now that he has got that run under his belt. He certainly looks the part on paper and could be sent off at a sufficiently attractive price to be worth chancing. Layla's Boy is one of the most exposed runners in the field but he has track form to his name and should run his race and be hard to keep out of the frame. Fighter Boy has shown ability on both starts but has raced keenly on both occasions which could give Jamie Spencer a headache if he fails to settle again and he's worth taking on on that basis. Victory for Edinburgh Knight earlier on the card would boost the claims of Heliocentric whilst Amtaar is another to consider but the suggestion is Omaruru.
