SOUTHANDWEST is the likeliest winner but Methaaly and Capricorn Run are not without their chances on the formbook. The selection did take a fair old hike up the weights for an effortless success at Wolverhampton before flopping at Kempton but the manner in which he won at Dunstall Park lives long in the memory and it's worth chancing that he can rediscover his form going this way around. Methaaly was big odds at the course last week and while this handicap is much tougher, it would be no surprise to see him primed for this big pot. Capricorn Run took advantage of the handicapper's decision to drop him a couple of pounds but now finds himself in the same predicament as previously was the case. Nevertheless, he comes here in fair nick. Indian Diva won well at Southwell but failed to translate that form away from that surface. Mister New York is tried again in blinkers after an unsuccessful experiment last time up. Flowing Cape had some solid form in turf contests but is unproven on this surface and the market is therefore watched. Southandwest has most positives in a race where finding the winner is not an easy task.
