Having found just one too good off this mark in a better race last time INHERITOR lands the vote, in the most valuable race of the day, ahead of eight time course winner Just Bond and consistent Can Can Star. The selection had been struggling under this rating after scoring in a similar race at Carlisle but bounced back to form last time when switched to the all-weather scene for the first time. He only found polytrack specialist Caprio too good that day and this looks an easier assignment. Just Bond runs this track particularly well and ran well in defeat when four pounds worse off last time. His win over Brouhaha two starts back is a decent bit of form and he should at least run his race. Can Can Star is usually in the mix and wasn't beaten far by a potentially smart Godolphin runner on his penultimate start under a similar burden while leaving the impression he needs a mark reprieve before scoring. Justcallmehandsome won an apprentices' contest last time but has plenty more to do in this company under a revised mark while Flores Sea seems to be best in plating company these days. There's plenty of doubts around a number of these runners but Inheritor has decent claims after his last run.
