This looks a pretty good maiden on paper and after a really nice debut run TEJIME gets the call to get off the mark at the second time of asking ahead of the frustrating Passkey and while Watch Amigo is entitled to come on from his own promising first start. Related to plenty of winners the pick nearly made a winning debut but was headed late on to just miss out to a more experienced rival. This time he should know his job a bit better and should improve for that opening gambit. Passkey is nothing if not consistent having been in touch in all four of his career starts. His habit of finding just one or two too good is getting old fast but he has another chance of going close. Watch Amigo got off to a slow start on his first run but once in the race kept on nicely to find just one too good and now he knows more about what goes on at the races he should be going well again. Very little else in the field makes much appeal and of the leading trio Tejime gets the call.
