An open finale and slight preference is for Summerville Star who is presumably not coming over the Irish Sea for the weather; the in-form Kirsty's Lad looks the obvious danger. The selection hasn't shown an awful lot in three starts in Ireland but the fact that her trainer brings her across for this closing race should be taken as a sign. She gets a weight allowance due to her age and with improvement to come now handicapping off a mark of 53, she looks worth chancing at the likely odds. Kirstys Lad is a formidable opponent in this grade, especially if allowed to bowl along in front unchallenged, whilst Weet Yer Turn is experienced and whilst he doesn't win as often as he should he cannot be ruled out assuming that he gets the decent pace that he needs. Formidable Guest showed a good attitude when winning at Lingfield and as she is unexposed, further improvement cannot be ruled out. At a price Swayze could run into a place, however Summerville Star is taken to score.
