A competitive contest gets proceedings underway and the market will be very informative but the principals look to be Brentwood, Modicum and Cedrus Libani and the vote is given to Brentwood. The selection was a fair sort over hurdles and beat Petrovka when last seen. He goes well fresh has conditions to suit and with his yard already amongst the winners this season he looks the one to be on. Cedrus Libani rates thee main danger as he was thought good enough to run at the Cheltenham Festival. He is another that is sure to have been well schooled and he should be watched in the market. Modicum is another worthy of respect as at least he has experience over fences and he was a fair second behind Hobbs Hill. The drop in trip should suit and he has definite place claims. John Forbes is another that could go well but is best form is with more cut in the ground. Of the others Endless Power is from a shrewd yard and could go well at a price but the suspicion is he will come on for the run and for the winner we return to Brentwood.
