        Verdict

        Glenridding remains fairly handicapped on his best form despite a 6lb rise for his recent win at Thirsk and Excellent Jem will be taking advantage of his slip down the weights before long judged on his latest third at Kempton. ANGEL CAKE scored over track and trip last month before following up over a longer distance here a week ago. A cosy three length winner last time, Mike Appleby's filly can defy a penalty and land the hat trick. Powerful Pierre finished runner-up over 6f here last time and has done all his winning so far over the latter distance.
