      Verdict

      CLEAR PEARL won a shade cosily on her handicap debut at Yarmouth and the drop back in trip should be no problem. Ed Vaughan's filly has more scope than the likes of Summer Dream and Miss Avonbridge though Silkelly may figure again. The older horses may provide stiffer competition given Al Freej ran well despite returning a losing favourite at Thirsk last time and Amethyst Dawn has gone close the last twice and looks likely to be winning soon.
