Any money for Royal Torbo would be interesting as he's well treated in this claimer and returning from a break but OTHELLO can be considered in form and at these weights has a clear chance so lands the verdict while Pure Crystal might find enough improvement to go very close. One of the better treated in the line-up the selection was impressive when landing a Chepsow handicap two starts back before running better than the bare result suggested behind an extremely well-handicapped runner last time. He is yet to race at this track but at the likely prices he looks worth the risk. Pure Crystal won a similar race over course and distance on her penultimate start and although she needs to improve looking at the ratings to win this she should go well. Gamesters Lady's and Resplendant Ace's course form gives them a squeak of getting involved while Gold Ring looks well-in but is out of form. Alternative Choice found just one too good at this level on his last start but with Royal Torbo with fitness to prove Othello looks the safest option.
