Hot Diggity Dog has gone close on several occasions since winning at Newcastle back in October but is now 10lb higher in the weights. Sir Henry Cotton is preferred as he followed a maiden success here with a handicap victory at Lingfield and should have no trouble confirming superiority with fourth-placed Ebtsama but the vote goes to KAPE MOSS (NAP). She hasn’t raced since December’s success at Newcastle but both placed horses have subsequently won and Dave Loughnane’s filly has plenty of scope for further progress.
