Plenty of the runners in this wide-open handicap have claims but after a decent effort in defeat last time we just opt to give SIR GEOFFERY the nod in preference to Ingleby Star while Bo McGinty is bound to give his running again. The selection only found the re-opposing Steel City Boy too good last time and he has a useful weight swing in his favour. That run was a step up on his first start back from a break and he may put in another improved effort racing off the same mark. Ingleby Star has hit a bit of form and only narrowly failed to follow up under a revised mark last time following a nice looking course and distance score. He looks set to be a leading player again but with the assessor putting an extra pound on his back despite that defeat he will have to improve. Bo McGinty has found just the one too good in each of his last three starts and although he should go well again he's becoming frustrating while much of Chjimes' chance will depend on his run here on Wednesday. Steel City Boy should be better than last time now returning to this surface but as we've already mentioned the weights swing away from him in favour of Sir Geoffery, who lands the verdict.
