Jim Boyle has his team in fair form and, receiving weight all round, his runner Mission Control has to be respected after his recent Kempton success but he may struggle to follow up off his new mark and preference is for MAN OF GWENT, who gets the vote with Long Distance rated the best of the rest. The selection has shown improved form in his last two starts on the Polytrack having disappointed on the Fibresand at Southwell previously and he is taken to resume winning ways for David Evans. Mr Aitch ran well on his belated return to action last month but Richard Phillips has struggled for winners of late so he looks best watched and of more interest may be El Diego. Jeremy Gask's gelding was good value for his win at Southwell last time but it remains to be seen whether he can reproduce a similar level of form back on the Polytrack. Karmest has shown a consistent level of form and should again be thereabouts but it is hard to get away from Man of Gwent, who gets the vote.
