It is tempting to put up Autumn Morning again however all the signs were there for a big run last time and instead it may pay to side with PRECOCIOUS AIR ahead of Sicilian Warrior. Quite an interesting handicap for three-year-old's but Jamie Osbourne hasn't sent many to the track recently. The selection is no stable star but he races off a mark of 60 today back in handicap company after some claiming and selling starts. His earlier form behind Doncosaque and Shadow Bay reads well and he should show up well today. Autumn Morning is a course and distance winner and Robert Winston takes the ride for the first time. His recent form looks solid however his win in December (claimer) has meant that he has had a hike in the weights and it has looked enough to prevent him winning in the near future. Inca Slew has a first-time visor on today on just his fifth start; his recent run behind Thewaytosanjose was an improved effort but the fact that this is his third set of headgear already sounds the warning bell. Mark Brisbourne does well at the track and Talsarnau cannot be overlooked with the stable off the mark in 2009, Josiah Bartlett's record is frustrating and it will be a fine ride from Jamie Spencer if he is to conjure up a maiden success, whilst Sicilian Warrior came there to win his race last time but could manage no better than fourth behind Hold The Bucks. Vien is yet another to consider having finished close up in that bunch finish behind Inca Slew, however it is Precocious Air who gets the tentative vote.
