In depth

Verdict

In a handicap where we can probably find reasons to oppose all of the starters we give marginal preference to KING OF CONNAUGHT, who races off a winning mark, while the unexposed Philmack Dot Com is respected after winning last time out and Tabaahi remains of interest. A course and distance winner in August the pick has begun to run some solid races in recent starts with limited effect. Those performances have seen his mark lower to one pound lighter than when recoding that victory and he should go well under an inform jockey. If the penny has dropped for Philmack Dot Com then he will be dangerous but we would like to see further proof of his new found improvement before getting involved. Tabaahi ran a solid race on his only previous visit here and should be weighted to challenge while on the pick of his old form Dabbers Ridge looks light in the handicap but he is out of sorts and best on turf. Not a race that will be archived for posterity but King Of Connaught looks weighted to win it.
