in touch, effort and headway 2f out, led inside final furlong, all out when headed close home
mid-division, ridden halfway, ran on closing stage
always towards rear
tracked leaders, every chance 1f out, one pace
chased leader, ridden 3f out, weakened inside final furlong
mid-division on outside, weakened over 1f out
never better than mid-division
held up, ridden halfway, stayed on to lead close home
in touch, ridden halfway, plugged on
Another tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be Flaran, Molotov, Madrasee and Nanna and the tentative vote goes to Flaran. The selection was a fair third behind Yamalo last time out weakening only in the final furlong. The drop in trip is sure to suit and with a top jockey booked he is taken to score. Molotov rates the main danger as he won well last time out when beating Coronglais but this looks more competitive and he looks on a high enough mark. Madrasee is another that could go well he was a fair second behind Harrison's Flyer last time. However he has never won at this track and for that reason he is passed over. Nanna is another that could go well on her best form but she was disappointing last time so can not be put forward with any confidence. Of the remainder Sharp Hat is from a shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to Flaran.
