In depth

Verdict

Mizhar will be hard to beat in this selling stakes and he is put forward as the selection with Tinian, Forty Forte and Kanz Wood the dangers. The 8-year-old from the John Quinn yard goes well on this track and won well last time out when defeating Bella Beguine over 7 furlongs. If he stays this longer trip then he will be very difficult to beat. Tinian is not easy to win with but he ran well enough last time at Ayr when a good second behind Forest Air. He could go close here if he reproduces that run, but he has a tendency to find at least one too good and is passed over for that reason. Forty Forte is a course and distance winner who is dropped slightly in grade so he has to be respected, while Kanz Wood is from a shrewd yard and should be noted in the market. However, for the winner we return to Mizhar.
