In depth

Verdict

Nonios won easily over track and trip last month but is upped in class off a 7lb higher mark. MYTHICAL MADNESS (NAP) makes more appeal as he beat Ready in a claimer here before just missing out over a mile back at the track a fortnight ago. David O’Meara’s charge has won over 1m2f on Turf and can return to winning ways in this. Faithful Creek was behind the selection last time but Georgian Bay finished ahead of Third Time Lucky and Solar Deity when fourth over a shorter distance here last month. Winterlude has won over hurdles since scoring twice on the all-weather early this year and may prove best of the rest.
