In depth

Verdict

GENESIUS placed twice on Tapeta as a two-year-old and has come into his own since tackling 1m4f. The extra quarter-mile at Salisbury last month was probably a shade too far and he can pick up the winning thread again. Ladywood hinted at a revival at Newmarket and she has done all of her winning so far on the all-weather while International Law bids for a sixth victory on the track so can’t be ignored. Hooflepuff may be best of the rest.
