        Verdict

        Burning Bush battled to victory in a similar race at Newbury but a 6lb rise makes this tougher and Big Boy Harley ran very poorly at Beverley after showing early promise. Stromboli has had three runs on fast going at Ayr and may do better with a bit of give but DAYEM has looked a nursery type, showing good speed in maidens on all three starts, and looks on a fair mark for his handicap debut. International Boy has gone up 6lb for being beaten four lengths at York though Billy Garritty's claim halves the extra. Aristobulus made a successful debut at Chelmsford before finding 7f too far in a better race at Redcar.
