      Verdict

      Amazing Alice failed in a bid for a hat-trick when runner-up at Chelmsford and an apprentice’s allowance helps her cause today. Way of Wisdom was beaten by a subsequent Listed winner at Ripon and ran badly in a Listed race himself last time. This is easier but a chance is taken on MUTAFARRID taking advantage of the weight concession and showing further progress after a fourth at Chelmsford. Shootingthe Breeze may prove best of the rest unless Expelled is much better than he showed on his recent debut at Windsor.
