    Verdict

Very little to excite in the first division of this maiden so it will be interesting to see if there is any market support for newcomers Kebek Khan and Moonbootz. ALKHAT was the lesser fancied of his owner’s two runners at Kempton in Chelmsford in November but led into the straight and wasn’t given a hard time in the closing stages. Any improvement on that will make him tough to beat. Kafee is another likely improver while Bollin Margaret hinted at ability at Newcastle in the autumn but will probably need more time
