      Verdict

      CHURCHILL BAY was well beaten in a nursery at York when last in action but is rated 83 on an earlier second at Ascot and has been gelded subsequently. Clive Cox’ charge may have too much for Maple Jack, who boats the best recent form with a debut fourth over track and trip and should figure again. Praise The Lord can finish closer today while Excel Power may improve dropping down in trip for this.
