Verdict

TENZING NORGAY posted his best effort so far when runner-up over course and distance on his latest start. Racing off the same mark, Sir Mark Prescott's charge gets the vote. Mr Lucas also produced a much better effort when fourth at Redcar and there may be more to come from him but New Hope has failed to figure since finishing fourth at Ayr in July. The remainder are even harder to fancy on what little they have shown to date.
