Singapore Lilly, who ran well in a Goodwood nursery last time, looks the pick of Mick Channon's two runners in this event ahead of Silly Billy but she may again have to settle for minor honours behind SCREEN PRINT. Michael Bell's son of Shamardal stepped up from his debut effort at Yarmouth when the narrow winner of an Epsom maiden last month and he looks well treated for his debut in this grade off a mark of 71. Mahmood Al Zarooni's Greek Islands has found one too good in each of his last four starts, latterly on his nursery debut when narrowly beaten by Byrony and he has to be respected but a 6lb rise since that run looks harsh. Tom Dascombe's Fabiello and Ed Vaughan's Ransom Request both look to be going the right way and are others worthy of consideration.
