Verdict

Winning form is in short supply but CAFE SYDNEY was successful over today’s trip at Brighton in August and was placed over a shorter distance here in March. Tony Carroll’s charge is preferred to Robeam, who has scored over hurdles since winning on the Flat last summer. Competition has been hurdling and has switched to Mick Appleby’s yard having last run on the Flat in 2018. He’s gone close off today’s mark in the past while Sunshineandbubbles pops up at this level when the mood takes him though it’s hard to predict when that will be.
