    Verdict

GUVENOR'S CHOICE (NAP) was returning from four months off when just failing to hold the late thrust of Daafr over the track and trip on Friday. The winner's 5lb penalty may anchor him here and the positions can be reversed. Clem A completed a course and distance double before another fine run at Newcastle while One To Go couldn't quite match strides with the favourite Crimewave at Lingfield, though had Flying Dragon and Grey D'Ars behind. One Cool Daddy has been running in slightly better company though was well beaten on his only start here.
